Geraldton Croquet Club was first formed in 1908. Today it is a small but very friendly sporting club,

centrally located in Maitland Street, in the Western corner of Maitland Park.

We play Golf and Association croquet, hold club competitions, pennants and tournaments in which other WA croquet clubs compete.

We also hold dinners and have occasional barbecues at the club house.

We host "come and try" days several times a year to encourage potential new members.

Those who think they might like to take up croquet are offered lessons by qualified coaches and are welcomed into the club.

Geraldton Croquet Club membership fees are modest, currently $80.00 annually, most of which goes to Croquetwest the peak croquet body in Western Australia,
which provides our insurance, administrative support and some funding for interclub tournaments.

Our green fees are also quite modest, it costs only $5.00 a day to play and fees are capped at $20.00 in any one week.

Croquet is a game which does not demand a high standard of fitness, in theory you should be able to play it as long as you can walk,

but it is to some degree a mind game where tactics matter and it can be as competitive as you want it to be.

Geraldton Croquet Club has a full range of skill levels; from one member who represents Western Australia

through to several recently joined members who have just learnt to play the game.

You will be made very welcome if you come and have a look; you may find a game you enjoy and can play with a sociable group of people.
